This article is related to various measurements that God established in the Bible. For example, God used these distances as units of measure the lengths of various items related to the temples that He called for in Israel. It is God who furnished the numbers for the dimensions for His temples. In the table below are some examples of Biblical distances in the Bible

In
Revelation 21:15-17, the angel gave the prophet John some measurements of the
New Jerusalem that God has created.
"15 And
he that talked with me had a golden reed to
measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and
he measured the city with the reed, twelve
thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of
it are equal.
17 And he measured the wall thereof, an
hundred and forty and four cubits,
according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel."
These
numbers are a part of a larger numbering scheme that God has done in the Bible.
These numbering schemes are fully detailed in the Books" Yahweh's Temple
Numbers" and Yahweh's Temple in Ezekiel".
The cubits in the Bible were also used to measure the distance for traveling on the Sabbath Day. In the beginning God instructed Israel not to travel on the Sabbath day.
Exodus 16:29-30
"29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the
sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide
ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his
place on the seventh day.
30 So the people rested on the seventh day."
However the religious authorities found precepts in the law that they use to permit limited travel. This limit became as the Biblical "Sabbath days Journey." Israelites were permitted to travel about 8000 cubits (round trip) on the Sabbath day.
A Biblical example of this is found in Acts 1:9-12, here Jesus ascended into heaven after instructing His disciples.
"9 And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
12
Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away."
