The Number 7 Sequences

The Creation

Adding the 1+1 Sequences in the Number 7

In this example, the 1+1 sequences are added together to arrive at the 6 in the 6+1 sequence. Therefore, (1+1) + (1+1) + (1+1) = 6 +1 to arrive at the number 7. In the book “How Yahweh Numbered Creation” I showed Biblical evidence where God added three 1+1 sequences to compose the 6 days of Creation. In this example, the 1+1 sequences are interwoven, creating 3 Creation cycles in the 6 days of Creation. This is all related to the number 3, because each 1+1 sequence is one third of the number 6.

Adding the 2+1 Sequences in the Number 7

Yahweh also sequenced the number 7 another way. In this example, He used the 2 + 1 sequence to arrive at the number 6. For example, in the six days of Creation, Yahweh highlighted every third day. More work was done on the 3rd and sixth days than the others. For example, at the end of each creation event, the Bible notes that God saw what was created and stated that it was good.

The First Day

“God saw that it was good”

The Second Day

God divided the waters vertically - but He was not finish dividing the waters - so there is no comment about them being good. On the third day after He finished gathering and naming the waters, He said they were good.

The Third Day

Genesis 1:9-13

“9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.”

Yahweh highlighted this day by doing more work and noting twice “God saw that it was good”.

The Fourth Day

“God saw that it was good”

The Fifth Day

“God saw that it was good”

The Sixth Day

Genesis 1:24-31

“24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

Yahweh highlighted this 6th day after the 3rd day by noting twice “God saw that it was good” on both days.

Therefore, every 3rd day was a peak in work; hence, the 6 days are 3 + 3 = 6. Next Yahweh blessed the 7th day making it a holy day giving us 6+1=7.
Furthermore, you might recall that each 3 is composed of a 2+1 sequence as illustrated below:

(2+1(3rd day) + (2+1 (6th day) + 1(7th day) = 7

In the +1 part of each 3 is the 3rd and 6th day. The 7th day is the 3rd +1 of this 6+1 sequence. Again, this is an example of adding +1 sequences together using the 2+1 sequence. More examples are detailed in the book “How Yahweh Numbered Creation.”
Adding the 3+1 and the 2+1 Sequences

((1+1) + (1)) + (1+1+1) + (1) = 7

The number 6 is the summation of the numbers 3+3. Just as God added a plus one or an extra day to the six days, God does the same sometimes when He uses the number 3. I have referred to this as the 3+1 sequence. The 3+1 sequence is a shortened version of the 6+1 Creation numbers. For more information on this example in the creation of the world, see the Bible Numbers  Series book "How Yahweh Numbered Creation".

The Number 7 Sequenced as 3+4 or 4+3

In some Biblical examples, God uses the 3+1 sequence alone; however, in others it is a part of the 6+1 Creation numbers. When the 3+1 sequence is a part of the 6 + 1 Creation numbers, the extra day is attached to one of the 3's that comprise the number 6. Thus, instead of a 3+3 = 6+1=7, the combination would be 3 + 3+1=7 (3+4=7). When God sequences the number 7 this way, 3 are grouped together and 4 are grouped together (4+3).
1
2 (this is the 2+1 part)

5
6 (this is the 3 + 1 part)

In some Biblical events, God reverses the 3+4 sequence and makes it a 4+3 sequence. He does this when He wants to celebrate an event on the number 7. In this type of event the 7th is also the 3rd.

Religious Ordinances

Purification Example (3+4)

An example of the number 7 being sequenced as 3+4=7 is found in the 19th Chapter of Numbers. God instructed Moses to prepare waters of purification for those who became unclean. A person could become unclean for touching a dead body or for shedding blood in war. God specified that such a person was to be unclean for seven days. God then sequence the 7 days using His 3+4 sequence.

In Numbers 19:12, God specified that the unclean were to be purified with the waters of purification on certain days.
“He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.”

The 7 days of Purification

1. Day - Unclean

2. Day - Unclean

3. Day - Sprinkled with the waters of purification

4. Day

5. Day

6. Day

7. Sprinkled with the waters of purification – After the 7th day the person is now clean in the sight of God.

God highlighted the 3rd and the 7th day. God divided the 7 days into 3 and 4 day periods. God's used 6+1 Creation numbers because on the 7th day a person would rest from their unclean state. The same thing is repeated concerning those who became unclean in Numbers 19:16-22.

“16 And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
19 And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.
20 But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.
21 And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.
22 And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.”
Yahweh highlighted the third and seventh days which are also prime numbers.

Miracles

The Raising of Lazarus (3+4=7)

Another example of God dividing 7 into 3 and 4 periods, is found in St. John Chapter 11. This involves the miracle of Jesus raising Lazarus from the grave. When Jesus heard that Lazarus was sick, He remained two days where He was. On the 3rd day Lazarus died. On the 3rd day Jesus knew that Lazarus had died and He informed His disciples. On the 3rd day Jesus decided to go to Judea to raise Lazarus.
Jesus and His disciples arrived in Judea the 4th day after the day that Lazarus had died. Lazarus was dead and in his grave for 4 days. Upon seeing the sadness of Lazarus’ relatives and friends, Jesus went to Lazarus grave and raised him from the dead. From the day Jesus heard that Lazarus was sick unto the day that He raised him, was 7 days.

The 7 days

1. Lazarus sick - Jesus knew but remained where He was
2. Lazarus sick - Jesus knew but remained where He was
3. Lazarus sick and dies - Jesus decided on the 3rd day to go to him.
--------
4. Lazarus in grave
5. Lazarus in grave
6. Lazarus in grave
7. Lazarus is raised from the grave on the 7th day.

As in the previous example, God highlighted the 3rd and 7th day. God also used the 3+1 sequence to number the 4 days that Lazarus was in the grave. Lazarus spent 3 full days in the grave but on the 4th day Jesus raised him (3+1). God also used the 6+1 creation numbers, on the 7th day Lazarus rested from his sickness and the grave.

Prophecies

The Trumpets of Revelation (4+3)

God used the 4+3 sequence to determine future events. A Biblical example of this is found in Revelation Chapter 8. In this prophecy God has 7 angels that are prepared to blow 7 trumpets. At the blowing of each trumpet a prophetic event was revealed to the prophet John.

1. Trumpet - prophetical event is revealed
2. Trumpet - another prophetical event is revealed
3. Trumpet - another prophetical event is revealed
4. Trumpet - another prophetical event is revealed

After the first 4 trumpets are sounded, God sent His angel as seen in the following Scripture.

Revelation 8:13:

“13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!”

The angel pronounced 3 woes, one for each of the remaining 3 trumpets. Here, God highlights the last 3 trumpets by making them 3 woes.

5. Trumpet - woe 1
6. Trumpet - woe 2
7. Trumpet - the 7th trumpet is also the 3rd woe. The 3rd Woe is the end of the world. God designed these 7 actions of these 7 trumpets using His 4+3 sequence.

These Biblical examples show how God added the +1 sequences to arrive at other numbers in the Bible. This helps the reader to understand how God numbered many of these events. This graphic of the 6 days of creation reveals the major ways that the number 7 is sequenced in the Bible.
