The Number 7 Multiplied as 7x2

A famous example of one number being added twice is found in Genesis 41:28-30. Here, God gave Pharaoh of Egypt a dream using the number 7. Eventually, Joseph was called to explain the meaning of the dream.

“28 This is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh.
29 Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt :
30 And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt ; and the famine shall consume the land;”

This is an example of the 14 years being sequenced as 7+7. The two 6+1 sequences are added together. There were 7 very good years for food which were followed by 7 years of famine. The Bible notes that this was an international famine. This is the famine that caused Jacob and His family to come and settle in the land of Egypt.
