Adding the 2+1 and the 1+1 Sequences
An example of the number 5 being sequenced as 3+2 is found in Genesis 15:8-10.
Here, Abraham asked God how he would know if He would inherit the land that God
promised him. God then had Abraham make a special sacrifice of 5 animals.
“8 And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
9 And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she
goat of
three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a
turtledove, and a young pigeon.
10 And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the
midst, and laid each
piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.”
For this special sacrifice God had Abraham take five animals. Three of the
animals of the herd were three years old. These three animals were also divided
and put upon the altar. However, the two birds were not of the herd and were
treated different (3+2). Furthermore, this is an all prime numbered sequence.
All of the numbers are prime numbers as 3+2=5. This is not the case in other
sacrifices in the Bible.
