The number 37 is a prime number. In the Bible, it has been arrived at using the 36+1 example. This example, is found in the 4th chapter of the book of Revelation. In this example, the prophet John was shown a vision of God sitting upon His throne and a host of beings around it.
Revelation 4:1-2
"1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and
one sat on the throne."
Revelation 4:5
"5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning
before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of
God."
Revelation 4:6-8
"6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and
round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and
behind.
7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come."
This is the group of divine beings seen by the prophet John

Afterwards the prophet John saw another divine being known as the "Lamb of God". This is the Lamb that had been slain for the sins of mankind. This brings the total of divine beings around the throne to 12+1=13. Again, 13 is a very important prime number. The number 13 s also the 7th prime number

The prophet John also saw 24 elders around about the throne in this
vision. For example in
Revelation 4:4, the prophet John wrote:
"4 And round
about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw
four and twenty elders
sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold."
There were 12 elders on one side of the throne
There were 12 elders on the other side of the throne totaling 24.

The total number of beings around about the throne were 37 (36+1= 37) in number. This number reveals God's prime design again because the number 37 is a prime number. Moreover, the number 37 is the 13th prime.
Again, this is a very important number, an association with two prime numbers.
